Knowledge Base
Field Inquiries
Is the leash cord fully waterproof and easy to clean?
Yes, the cord is woven from high-density waterproof polyester engineered specifically to repel moisture, dirt, and muddy grit. Unlike traditional woven nylon webbing that absorbs ground moisture and develops unpleasant odors over time, our cord wipes clean in seconds with a damp cloth and dries rapidly before retracting safely into the main casing.
What dog sizes and weights is this leash built for?
The Ultimate Exploration Leash is calibrated for small to medium dog breeds weighing up to 45 pounds. The internal stainless steel spring delivers consistent, balanced cord tension, preventing excessive pulling on smaller pets while maintaining secure stopping power whenever larger, high-energy dogs decide to suddenly bolt toward wildlife or trail obstacles.
How does the single-thumb brake and lock system operate?
Our intuitive control mechanism puts stopping power right at your fingertips without awkward switches. Simply slide the top-mounted toggle forward to instantly halt cord extension and lock it securely at your chosen distance. Pull the button back slightly to release the brake and let the smooth retraction mechanism gently retrieve slack.
